I know that the LibreOffice word counter comes up with slightly different numbers than the official NaNoWriMo word counter, but it should be close enough. That's about twice as many as I need to average per day, but I'm just happy to be banking some against a possible word drought later on.

I guess that Thanksgiving will make me take some time away from the novel, and there's Oíche Shamhna coming up in the middle of the month, but I've always been pretty well able to avoid flu. If I catch it, so it goes. Maybe a fever will add a creative touch to my writing. Weather? Ha! I write at home, on a laptop. I am nearly immune to weather considerations! (He says, unmindful of the perils of hubris. Now watch us get our first multiple-day power outage in years. Of course, that's why they make paper and pens.) Thanks!
